The second part of a film series on sexual education designed for parents of children and teens. Director Götz Oelschlegel addressed the taboo issue of sexuality well before the first films made by the champion of sexual education, Oswald Kolle, at the end of the 1960s.
This episode uses a mixture of staged and semi-documentary scenes to present typical problems faced by 13- to 16-year-olds, especially their growing need for independence and respect from their parents. The film approaches this topic with frank openness, but also with sensitivity towards the unique personalities of his young subjects and their development as individuals.
