Synopsis

While looking through a telescope, young Pioneer Adam Ledermann hears a voice from the moon, which asks him to cultivate flowers that could grow there. He begins a series of experiments, but growing a moon flower proves to be more difficult than he thought.

Adam finds a team of people to help him with his ambitious project: expert biologist Professor Vitamin, airplane pilot Condensation Max, his handyman Grandpa, and of course his best friends Evchen and Manni. Will he be able to make his moon flowers bloom?

This fairytale for children's film blends imaginative fantasy elements into a modern setting.

Press comments

"In this modern fairytale, the borders between fantasy and reality constantly blur, accomodating children's powers of fantasy and imaginary worlds while simultaneously challenging them."
