Synopsis
Heinrich the deer arrives at the zoo. The children enthusiastically welcome him and soon they all become friends. When winter arrives, the children don't come to visit Heinrich anymore. He doesn't know that they are just busy with their Christmas preparations and goes to search for them.
On his way, he sees that the children also prepared a present for the animals in the woods. Heinrich feels bad that he did not trust the kids. He returns to the zoo and everybody is happy to have him back, especially the children who missed him.
This cut-out animated film is based on a children's book by Fred Rodrian.
