Synopsis
During the Seven Years' War, Friedrich II of Prussia (Herwart Grosse) lays siege to the city of Prague without being able to capture it. He comes up with a plan which involves sending the famous master thief Christian Kaesebier (Manfred Krug), who has been imprisoned in Stettin Fortress, into the city. But after Kaesebier falls in love with the Czech woman Katja and discovers that the king intendes to cheat him, he joins the citizens of Prague.
