Synopsis
Two vagabond boys, Mick and Sauly, meet in a capitalist city and resolve to go to the ocean, land of their dreams. They want to find the younger boy's guardian angel, which was stolen by an evil man who intended to sell it. Their travels take them through exotic places like Baan, Prince and Botnango, where they encounter a cast of dubious characters and fantastic situations. Exceptionally, the film involved an East-West collaboration and was shot in New York, Cuba and Bulgaria.
Based on the 1973 eponymous novel by West German author Christoph Meckel.
