Synopsis
Three men – criminals Erwin Lubowitz and Bruno Marquard and waiter Walter Graf – are collaborating on a major bank heist. Construction apprentices Bubi and Julian, who are mainly trying to win the affections of the night club singer Tina, are also unwittingly caught up in the scheme. In spite of several unforeseen incidents, the robbers are able to make off with their loot, with an equally motley police team in hot pursuit.
This crime comedy is set in the winter of 1946 in post-war Berlin.
