Gripp, Andreas

Biography:

Very little information is available about the actor Andreas Gripp. It is known that he was a theater actor and performed in Magdeburg. He was cast in supporting roles in Frank Beyer’s five-part television film, Rottenknechte – about navy officers in the last days of WWII – and Werner W. Wallroth’s DEFA comedy, Hauptmann Florian von der Mühle. His only leading role in a film was as the young, spontaneous student Daniel in Die Taube auf dem Dach, directed by Iris Gusner. Gripp died in a car accident a few years after shooting Gusner’s film.
